The iRacing Fundamentals course is the first in what will be a comprehensive 3 course driver improvement program. My mission is to make driver improvement (courses and coaching) as affordable as possible. Its for this reason that the complete program is broken up into 3 packages. When drivers are wanting to learn the fundamentals, they shouldn’t need to spend large amounts of money to purchase a course full of advanced driving techniques that aren’t relevant to them.

At first I wasn’t sure if the course would be useful for me as a 3k+ driver. However, the insights the course has given me are really beneficial. It has drastically reduced my required practice times, helped me address bad behaviours I taught myself and helped me understand why things work (or don’t).
Overall I can’t recommend this course enough, doesn’t matter if you are 1, 2 or 3k IR (or even higher maybe).The course touches all important subjects and will help you improve in many ways!

I’m pretty new to sim racing. I drove a Mazda in iRacing for a month and couldn’t get a feel for the car at all. I kept spinning out. I watched tons of videos by famous sim racers on YouTube, studied theory, watched track guides, and even took a couple of courses, but my progress was minimal. I had minimal enjoyment, but maximum anger at myself and irritation after each session.
I stumbled upon the “iRacing Fundamentals” course completely by accident. And after the first few lessons, I finally began to feel and understand how the car behaves. I became much more stable. Now I really enjoy driving. And this is just the beginning.
Tom shows in amazing detail in the video how to practice a particular technique and explains every moment: the position of the steering wheel, working with the gas and brakes, etc.
This course is a real gem. And it should cost much more.

Everything he teaches is quickly applicable to driving, and you get results almost immediately.
